RFC 001: Browser support floor (Tailwind v4 / djed preset)
Status
Section titled “Status”Accepted — Atlas workstation and docs adopt the same floor as Tailwind CSS v4.
Context
Section titled “Context”Tailwind v4 targets modern evergreen browsers. Before Phase A makes djed-tailwind-preset the first imported theme layer, we must align product support with that floor or provide an explicit compatibility program (out of scope for this refresh).
Decision
Section titled “Decision”- Supported minimums (align with Tailwind CSS theme / browser guidance): Chrome 111+, Safari 16.4+, Firefox 128+.
- Enterprise policy: If a customer requires older browsers, Phase A is blocked until a separate shim program is approved (not part of this convergence tranche).
Consequences
Section titled “Consequences”- QA matrices and support docs should state this floor.
- No additional polyfill work is in scope for the refresh.
