What it checks
Section titled “What it checks”The selected source’s Release is ReleasedC1 or ReleasedC2. C0 sources are pre-release — usable for modelling, not for activation.
When it fires
Section titled “When it fires”A source was selected but its release state is anything other than C1 or C2 (typically C0 or unreleased).
Failure detail
Section titled “Failure detail”source release state is <release> — for example source release state is C0.
Resolution
Section titled “Resolution”Select a C1 or C2 source if one is available, or accept the cap and promote no higher than EVIDENCE_GROUNDED. Overrides are permitted because the severity is warning; see How to resolve a gate for the override flow and the reason-text contract in Gates are non-bypassable.
